Johnny Depp Begins Testimony In Amber Heard Defamation Case

CNN reports actor Johnny Depp has taken the stand to defend himself against ex-wife Amber Heard’s allegations. Depp is suing Heard for $50 million regarding a 2018 ‘Washington Post’ op-ed she wrote detailing her experiences with domestic abuse

“My goal is the truth” Johnny Depp during remarks in defamation case against Amber Heard as reported by CNN.

Heard’s  op-ed was published around two years after she claimed Depp has bruised her face when he threw his cell phone at her.

Depp has vehemently denied all allegations. “Never did I myself reach the point of striking Ms. Heard in any way nor have I ever struck any woman in my life.”

Depp says upon being accused of domestic abuse, his once fruitful acting career has experienced a lull. “One day you’re Cinderella so to speak and then in zero point six seconds you’re Quasimodo.” “I didn’t deserve that and nor did my children, nor did the people who had believed in me all these years.”
