Kwegyir Aggrey Senior High School was established in 1992 through the initiative of chiefs and people of Anomabo and named after an illustrious son of the land Dr. Emmanuel Kwegyir Aggrey. It was absorbed into the public education system in January 1993. The school is located at the western end of Anomabo.

The vision of the school is to develop Kwegyir Aggrey Senior High into a learcenterrentre of excellence to enable it to often holistic education and discipline to all students.

Is the mission of the school to diversify the school curriculum by way of introducing new programmes and subjects to meet the aspirations of all stakeholders
