Mando Senior High Technical School is located at Ajumako Mando, about 6km East of the District capital, Ajumako and west of Ekumfi Essuehyia Junction, off the Accra Cape Coast main highway. The school is sited on approximately 4.5 acre land donated by the “Aboradze” families of Ajumako Mando and Enyan Abaasa; and the “Anona” family of Enyan Abaasa.

The school began as a middle school in 1973 and later upgraded into an Experimental Junior Secondary School in 1979. In 1983, the school was transformed into community secondary technical school with Late Mr. George Conduah as the first Headmaster.
