Anybody who has completed junior high school education or is yet to complete has the dream of entering into one of the best senior high schools in Ghana.
Usually, there are four categories that every student is expected to make selections from. They are categorized in alphabetical order, that is category A, B, C and D.
Considering the academic performance of these senior high schools, they are ranked in order of merit, to make it easy for JHS leavers to know which school to select, when they are ready to enter the second cycle institution.
